Map Quiz Challenge (“the App”) is developed and operated by Onur Hazar.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use Map Quiz Challenge, how that information is used, and the services involved in processing it.
Information We Collect
Account Information
If you create an account, the App collects:
- Your email address
- Your display name
- A unique Firebase user identifier
Your password is handled securely by Firebase Authentication and is not stored directly by Map Quiz Challenge.
Profile Information
The App uses your display name to generate a simple avatar containing your initials and a color. Profile images are not uploaded or stored.
Quiz and Leaderboard Data
When you complete quizzes, the App may store:
- Quiz category
- Score
- Number of correct answers
- Number of incorrect answers
- Number of timed-out questions
- Total number of answered questions
Your best score for each category may be stored and displayed on the leaderboard together with your display name and generated avatar.
Analytics
Map Quiz Challenge uses Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage and improve the experience.
Analytics information may include events such as app usage, screen interactions, device information, and general technical information.
The App does not use Firebase Analytics for advertising purposes and does not intentionally collect advertising identifiers for personalized advertising.
How We Use Information
Information collected by the App is used to:
- Create and manage your account
- Save your profile information
- Store your quiz scores
- Display leaderboard results
- Maintain and improve the App
- Understand general usage and performance
Third-Party Services
Map Quiz Challenge uses services provided by Google Firebase, including:
- Firebase Authentication
- Cloud Firestore
- Firebase Analytics
These services may process information according to Google’s own privacy policies and terms.

Data Sharing
Map Quiz Challenge does not sell your personal information.
Information is not shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Some information is processed by Firebase as necessary to provide authentication, database, analytics, and related infrastructure services.
Leaderboards
Leaderboard information may be visible to other users of the App.
This may include:
- Your display name
- Your generated avatar
- Your quiz score
Your email address is not displayed on the leaderboard.
Data Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect stored information. Firebase authentication and database security rules are used to restrict access to account information.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention and Deletion
Account, profile, and score information may remain stored while your account is active.
If you would like your account and associated personal information to be deleted, please contact:

We will process valid deletion requests within a reasonable period.
Children's Privacy
Map Quiz Challenge is an educational geography game and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information improperly, please contact us so that the information can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the App, its services, or legal requirements change.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
